The Lekki Textile and Garment Special Economic Zone project in Nigeria’s Lagos state will generate 5,000 direct and over 20,000 indirect jobs when operational, according to Olufemi Ogunyemi, managing director of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority.
The project, in line with the government’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan, will serve the export markets of the South-West region.
