Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.

Ahead of every season, I treat myself to some wardrobe staples that will take my closet up a notch. I tend to go a bit overboard when shopping for fall, but can you blame me? The air is crisp, the mood is just right, and the chic outfits on the streets of NYC are inspiring. I have no choice but to honor this special time of year by sporting stylish looks. (Sorry, I don’t make the rules.) But in order to keep my wardrobe and my wallet happy, I always find myself coming back to Walmart for the best affordable, on-trend pieces. Shopping here is hands down the easiest way to participate in seasonal trends without breaking the bank, so I found 30 under-$60 items for you to enjoy below. Upgrade your fall wardrobe, and thank me later.

If we’re talking fall wardrobes, consider this a necessity.

Leather weather is upon us. This chocolate-brown shade is *chef’s kiss.*

The double buckle gives your ordinary Mary Janes a nice upgrade.

Yep, I mean business. Prepare to wear this on repeat with just about every neutral base in your closet.

If you want to combine two major trends this season (metallics and flat shoes), these are the way to go.

I can’t think of a better way to transition from summer to fall.

If this were a competition, this striped cardigan would win first place.

The sweetheart neckline, sleeve details, and classic ribbing make this top an absolute must-have.

This dress is a true crowd-pleaser. Expect oohs and aahs as soon as you step foot in the office.

It’s cute enough to wear on the weekends and large enough to carry your laptop to the office.

Can you tell I’m loving the resurgence of Mary Janes? It felt wrong not to share this pair with you.

I’d wear this to the office with the Mary Janes above and some socks.

There’s just something about dark denim in the fall. This is the perfect wash.

The side stripe is so chic.

I can’t tell what I love the most about this jacket: the rich color, puff sleeves, or cinched waist.

This is the only appropriate way to give somebody the cold shoulder. This cable-knit is everything.

Layering is key. Throw this over your shoulders or wear it over a slip dress with a pair of flats for a cozy vibe.

This skirt screams fall.

You can’t beat the price point. The bag you’ll never stop reaching for is $25.

Pleated skirts come back around every fall. This leather number has my undivided attention.

Western style has taken over. These boots are the perfect way to ease into the trend.

I live in sweaterdresses this time of year, so this was an immediate yes.

News flash: Lug-sole loafers aren’t going anywhere but your closet.

They’re under $5 and downright cute. Give your circular gold hoops a break, and try out this angular option.

The ’90s called and said that this hobo bag is it. Sling this over your shoulder, and instantly make every look 10 times cooler.

Cherry red is set to dominate this fall. Grab this before it’s gone.

Nothing gives me an extra dose of confidence quite like a pair of knee-high boots. The block heel and stretch material make them extra comfortable.

Wear this to work, dinner, or a business meeting. The versatility is unmatched.

Look at this ’90s cut and wash. These are bound to be your signature pair of jeans this fall.

PSA: You can wear bright hues in the fall. This cozy knit is warm and eye-catching.
