Cotton yarn prices rose in north Indian markets as spinning mills attempted to raise selling rates amid tight supply and volatility in the polyester value chain.
Delhi and Ludhiana recorded modest increases, while Panipat saw a sharp surge in recycled PC yarn and recycled polyester fibre.
However, overall trade remained slow due to prevailing market uncertainty.
