North India’s cotton yarn market remained subdued as slow demand and tight payment flows kept trading weak in Delhi, Ludhiana and Panipat.
Prices stayed largely stable, but the removal of QCOs from the polyester chain is expected to gradually shift consumption away from cotton.
Recycled yarn prices were also steady.
Cotton prices dipped as CCI avoided MSP procurement.
