Cambodian PM Hun Manet has announced a significant reduction in tariffs on US products, immediately reducing tariffs on 19 US product categories from the maximum 35 per cent to an applied 5-per cent rate.
The decision followed the US President’s move to impose a 49-per cent tariff on Cambodian exports.
Manet urged Washington to delay the tariff implementation and begin negotiations without delay.
