December through January is unofficially Zara season in my book. It’s the legendary end-of-season sale that initially ropes me in, and from then on through the end of January, I become completely fixated on every new drop. I did some major damage during the sale last month (see above for evidence), and now it’s the brand’s most recent collection that’s currently thinning out my pockets.  You can always expect something exciting and remarkably on-trend from Zara, and this is no different. One of the standout pieces (which was so good I had to put it first in this story), is a pair of straight-leg jeans with a cool wrapped detail. It’s the type of elevated staple I can see myself wearing non-stop until others start to notice. Also included in the newest drop—elegant knit separates that feel reminiscent of Norma Kamali’s body-shaping power pieces. And it’s not winter without some strong outerwear—there’s plenty of faux fur and sophisticated wool coats on the agenda too. For a glimpse of all of the cool Zara finds I scouted, keep scrolling below.

These are the jeans.

For just $28, this is a solid closet staple.

Definitely buy the skirt to make it a set.

Sizes are scare for this piece, and it’s not difficult to see why.

Cargo pants are the center of attention for the foreseeable future.

The draping levels this up.

A simple bodysuit shirt is a must. You’ll want to buy these in multiples.

An A+ sale find.

Since everyone is clamoring over basics, this one is definitely worth adding to your lineup.

Proof that white tees don’t have to be boring.

It’s the defined shoulders for me.

Suddenly I’ve been extremely into polos lately.

Pair these with tall heeled boots for a striking look.

There’s something about contrast stitching that just screams Parisian.

Anyone else getting Marni vibes from this?!

I’ve been on the hunt for pinstripe pants for years and alas they’re mine.

A seductive yet simple going-out dress.

These will go with everything.

The waist detail is so much fun.

When cozy is the operative word.

One of the main micro trends to look towards? Romantic ruffles.

The double-layered effect is genius.

Stunning.

I’ve seen this jacket so many times in the wild, which must mean it’s worth it.

We love a reversible coat.

As you can see, heeled boots are always on my mind. The patent finish on these completely steals the show.

A blazer for when you mean business.

A clean, neutral coat will never let you down.

My pinstripe obsession continues.
