The Ethical Trading Initiative and other organisations have urged the EU to ensure the Omnibus Package upholds corporate responsibility and human rights.
They stressed on aligning CSDDD and CSRD with global standards, embedding risk-based due diligence, fostering supply chain collaboration, and ensuring legal certainty to strengthen resilience, protect people and the environment.
