Orlen Group, with Aker BP, Equinor, and Petoro, has made a major oil discovery in Norway’s Yggdrasil area under the Omega Alpha campaign.
Using advanced drilling, including record 10 km horizontal wells, partners found 96–134 mmboe recoverable resources.
Orlen’s share is 10.5–15 mmboe, its second discovery this year after the 3–7 mmboe E-prospect.
