Poland’s consumer prices rose by 4.2 per cent in July 2024 compared to the previous year, driven by a 3.5 per cent increase in goods prices.
On a monthly basis, prices increased by 1.4 per cent.
However, clothing and footwear prices dropped by 3.1 per cent from June.
The inflation rate remained above the target set by Poland’s Monetary Policy Council.
