India’s man-made fibre yarn market showed an upward trend with polyester spun and viscose yarn prices rising by ₹2–5 per kg across key markets, driven by demand ahead of the festive and winter seasons.
Ludhiana saw stronger gains, while Surat remained stable.
Viscose yarn prices also increased in Mumbai and Surat.
Meanwhile, cotton prices in north India eased due to weak demand and limited arrivals.
