PPG has agreed to sell its silicas products business to QEMETICA S.A. for $310 million, with the transaction expected to close in Q4 2024.
The sale includes PPG’s silicas manufacturing sites in Louisiana, and The Netherlands.
The move allows PPG to focus on its core coatings and specialty products businesses, while QEMETICA expands its global presence.
