Projects funded by China in Bangladesh will continue as planned, Chinese ambassador to the country Yao Wen assured after his first meeting with the latter’s finance and planning adviser Salehuddin Ahmed.
Both discussed potential new support from China.
Ahmed proposed lowering interest rates on Chinese loans and extending repayment periods by ten more years.
