The rate of change of the Italian consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.2 per cent month on month in August.
A fall in the all-item index’s growth on an annual basis was noted.
The YoY growth rate of CPI for goods was minus 0.5 per cent in August compared to minus 0.1 per cent in July.
Core inflation (bar energy and unprocessed food) was 1.9 per cent.
