Rieter has completed the acquisition of Barmag as of February 2, 2026, becoming the world’s leading system provider for natural and synthetic fibres.
Barmag will operate as the new ‘Man-Made Fiber’ division, retaining its management.
The deal, financed through a capital increase and loans, strengthens Rieter’s market leadership, especially in Asia.
