During President Vladimir Putin’s recent two-day visit to Baku, Azerbaijan and Russia discussed cooperation in transport, particularly in the International North-South Transport Corridor project.
Azerbaijan is modernising the railway segment of this corridor to increase its throughput capacity to transporting up to 15 million tonnes of cargo per year.
