Samsung E&A held a groundbreaking ceremony on January 05, 2026 for the Wabash Low-Carbon Ammonia Project in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The plant will produce 500,000 tons of ammonia annually while capturing 1.67 million tons of carbon dioxide.
Backed by US and Korean government funding, the KRW 680 billion EPF project is targeted for completion in 2029.
