Limited Too walked so Caroline Ricke could run.

The self-proclaimed “Ohio socialite” has amassed millions of followers on TikTok for her humorous videos where she wears clothes from the ’90s and early 2000s, transforming into her “Rich Caroline” persona.

With Juicy Couture tracksuits and thrifted platform heels, Ricke describes her style as “Disney Channel star mixed with suburban mom,” and honestly, that feels right.

Ricke’s wardrobe will have you feeling nostalgic for your middle school days of roaming around the mall and searching for the latest Paul Frank T-shirt.

The majority of Ricke’s closet is thrifted. Whether that’s a jacket that looks like it’s straight out of an episode of Lizzie McGuire or a graphic tee, Ricke likes all of her clothes to have a story behind them—even if it’s one that she makes up.

“Most of the stuff in my closet is thrifted because I like everything to have a story. I just make up stories for most of the stuff I own,” she says.

Ricke isn’t afraid to mix patterns and has a thing for animal prints. One of her favorite items is an animal-print halter dress that she feels like Sofía Vergara wore on Modern Family.

“When I was in fifth grade, I was obsessed with her, so when I saw it, I felt like I had to get it,” she says.

Ricke jokes that a lot of her clothes are ugly but that it’s about how you style them: “I actually think ugly clothes are better because if you style something ugly, I have more respect than if you just bought it from Urban Outfitters and it just came cute.”

Every item in Ricke’s closet makes a statement. She isn’t afraid to mix patterns or wear something that is seen as “ugly.”

“I don’t wear ugly clothes. I wear statement pieces,” she adds.
