South Africa’s textile and apparel imports grew 1.3 per cent year-on-year to 48.96 billion rand (~$2.82 billion) in January–September 2025, supported by sustained demand for apparel and household textiles.
Exports rose 6 per cent to 17.84 billion rand (~$1.03 billion), driven by neighbouring African markets.
