Sri Lanka’s garment exports rose by 4.9 per cent to $4,660.1 million in 2024, while textile exports fell by 12.9 per cent to $294.5 million.
Total textile product exports reached $5,061.0 million, making up 50.88 per cent of industrial exports.
Imports of textiles and clothing surged, with textile imports rising 20.1 per cent to $2,847.1 million.
