The European Commission has released additional guidance and a stronger cooperation framework to support global stakeholders, member states and third nations in their preparations for implementing the EU Deforestation Regulation.
It will give additional 12-month time to prepare.
If approved, the law would be applicable on December 30, 2025, for large firms and June 30, 2026, for small ones.
