Clariant has signed a supply agreement with SYPOX to provide catalysts for the world’s largest 10 MW electric steam methane reformer (e-SMR), set to start in 2026.
Using renewable power, the plant will produce ~150 tons of syngas daily with sharply reduced CO₂ emissions.
The project merges SYPOX’s electrified reformer technology with Clariant’s 70+ years of catalyst expertise.
