Well, that is exactly what’s about to happen with the rise of minimalist dresses. Excited? Same.
On the F/W 20 runways, we saw brands like Jacquemus, Bottega Veneta, and Dion Lee embracing minimalism, but their designs are infused with cool details that make them feel anything but ordinary. Here’s a dress I personally can’t wait to wear. Tube tops have been on the rise so it was only a matter of time before strapless dresses started to pop up. The throwback piece conjures cool, minimal style from the ’90s and I’m very here for it.
Maxi hemlines seem to get more and more popular as we move through 2020. I predict that flowy silhouettes will be especially popular. I’d style one of these dresses with riding boots as temperatures start to cool down.
While tiered dresses might be a huge trend for summer, we’ll also see them carry over to fall. Adding a pair of ankle boots like Angela Fink here and you have the perfect transitional look.
