I love easy life hacks. I mean, who doesn’t? And right now, with everything going on, there are a couple of things that make me feel like I’m a bit more in control: 1) having a tidy desk and 2) getting dressed in actual clothes without too much effort. This is the perfect segue then to talking about one of the greatest dresses of all time: the T-shirt dress. It is the simplest of creations. It can be short, midi, or long. It can have a cute detail or be printed. But it must have short sleeves and a classic T-shirt neckline (usually crew, but I will accept V).

The real joy I take in this frock variety is that it can be as loose or as tight as you want. There are no hard-and-fast rules about how it should be worn. My personal preference is to wear it at a midi length in a black or bold block color and paired with gold earrings or a chain necklace with chunky sandals. I’ve recently spotted a gorgeous fringed one from Raey, which I know I’d get tons of wear out over the summer. But there are loads more around right now, so don’t just take my word for it. Keep scrolling to see my edit of the best T-shirt dresses.
