We’re always looking to different people for our daily dose of fashion inspiration, and Jen Andrews-Cater’s outfits are something we can’t get enough of. We’ve featured Andrews-Cater before for her staples and favorite trends, but we actually got more familiar with her on TikTok. We still love sourcing fashion content from Instagram, but seeing users talk through their styling process and show their daily ‘fits without any staging involved piques our interest much more these days. Andrews-Cater seems to agree, as she shared with us that she’s been enjoying posting on TikTok because it’s a way for her to share tips, show more of her personality, and interact with followers while picking out an outfit. While TikTok gets the rep of being Gen Z centered, she only joined a month ago and has already proven that style has no age on the app.

Luckily for us, Andrews-Cater shares a variety of her looks on both social platforms, and we got her to talk about five chic outfits that caught our attention. She describes her style as minimal, timeless, and accessible. We’re not sure about you, but that’s the ideal sartorial vibe we’ve been trying our best to emulate recently. If you agree, keep scrolling to see and shop her looks.

“I love wearing white year-round, but in the summer, it’s about mixing up the textures and wearing cooler fabrics. I’m always on the constant hunt for the perfect white tank and finally found it. The shoes were an investment, but I’m loving how much use I am getting out of them, super versatile. I like to calculate my CPW (cost per wear) with more expensive pieces, and these shoes are meeting the mark! The bag is also another one of my faves this summer! With the inception of Olympia Gayot at J.Crew, I’m finding myself shopping there much more again. She has really elevated the brand and brought back a lot of classic ’90s nostalgic pieces.”

“This is one of my favorite outfits I wore recently. I love camel and black together. It always translates to a very elegant, chic vibe. I actually bought this soft sleeveless turtleneck to re-create a Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy look (completely obsessed with her timeless style), and I’ve been wearing it a lot with other pieces. This is an outfit I’d wear out to meet friends for happy hour. I gave up high heels long ago! I’m also 5’11”, so I don’t really ‘need’ the height.”

“Effortless comfort yet chic… That’s the vibe I go for most days. A simple oversize cardigan is a year-round piece for me. Wearing another of my fave linen trousers here from J.Crew. I love that their trousers come in classic, petite, and tall for tall girls like me! A loafer is a minimalist’s staple, and these were gifted to me from the brand and look and feel so much more expensive than they are. A straw bag is a must in the summer, and Loewe makes the best quality ones. I’ve had this one for two summers now and always reach for it!”

“I never met a stripe I didn’t like, and I loved this oversize cardi when I saw it. I also like to buy knits a size or two larger. Unless it’s meant to be fitted, I love the look of a slouchy, oversize knit. This one gave me Khaite vibes but at a fraction of the cost. (It’s H&M!) I decided to wear it as a top, but I also wear it layered with a tank or tee underneath! I’ll definitely be wearing this piece into fall.”

“A white linen trouser is an essential summer must-have for me. I love layering year-round because it adds personality and interest to a look. I’m super into the color olive this season. This tank is from Totême (one of my favorite brands), and I chose to layer it with another linen staple from Zara. I never wear more than three colors in one ‘fit because it keeps things streamlined, chic, and minimal—just the way I like it.”
