Total external trade in goods in the Philippines rose by 13 per cent YoY to $17.51 billion in December 2025, preliminary government data showed.
Imports accounted for 60.1 per cent of total trade, while exports made up the rest.
Seasonally-adjusted exports were worth $7.33 billion in value—a month-on-month (MoM) rise of 1 per cent, while such imports amounted to $10.81 billion—a MoM drop of 4.6 per cent.
