President Donald J Trump yesterday signed a memorandum ordering formulation of a ‘Fair and Reciprocal Plan’ for restoring fairness in US trade ties and countering non-reciprocal trading arrangements.
He ordered federal agencies to investigate the harm from any such arrangements adopted by trading partners and suggest remedial measures for new reciprocal tariffs, the White House said.
