Turkiye has hiked the tax on goods purchased abroad and ordered via mail and cargo by 66-100 per cent.
Tax on goods arriving from the EU with a value not exceeding €30 has been raised from 18 per cent to 30 per cent, while that on goods bought from other countries was raised from 30 per cent to 60 per cent.
The decision will enter into force this month.
