Turkiye’s apparel exports declined by 2.46 per cent YoY to $10.672 billion in January-July 2024, an improvement from the 10 per cent drop in H1 2024.
Exports of knitted clothing fell by 4.5 per cent, and non-knitted apparel by 11 per cent.
However, July 2024 saw a 9.12 per cent rise in garment exports.
Imports of cotton and textiles also decreased.
