Turkiye’s fabric exports fell 2.55 per cent to $2.101 billion in January–June 2025, extending a three-year decline since 2022.
Italy remained the top buyer, while Belarus, Morocco, Spain, and Egypt followed.
Imports, however, rose 4.89 per cent after two years of contraction, led by China, Egypt, and Italy.
The shift signals weaker export competitiveness but stabilising domestic demand.
