In 2024, UK’s clothing exports decreased by 11.74 per cent to £3,320 million (~$4,186.53 million), reflecting sluggish demand, particularly in Europe.
Textile fabric exports remained stable at £2,733 million, while fibre exports rose to £707 million.
Despite a decrease in monthly and annual export figures, December saw a drop in clothing and textile exports but an increase in fibre exports.
