UK’s clothing imports fell 8.63 per cent YoY to £1.334 billion (~$1.812 billion) in April 2025 and declined 5.99 per cent from March.
Fabric and fibre imports also dropped. However, Q1 2025 saw a 10.28 per cent rise in clothing imports YoY.
For full-year 2024, clothing imports fell 7.06 per cent, continuing the downtrend from 2023 and 2022, reflecting broader import contraction across textiles.
