UK retail sales grew 0.5 per cent YoY in July, below the 1.5 per cent growth in July 2023 but above the three-month average of 0.3 per cent, according to the BRC.
Non-food sales fell 1.7 per cent YoY over three months, with in-store non-food sales down 2.7 per cent.
Online non-food sales rose 0.3 per cent, improving from a 6.9 per cent decline in July 2023.
