UNECE has issued 3 new UN/LOCODE entries and updated 10 existing entries in the UAE to strengthen Gulf supply chain resilience amid Strait of Hormuz disruptions.
The move supports inland logistics hubs, dry ports, rail terminals and multimodal corridors linking Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai to alternative export routes via Fujairah and Djeddah.
