In January–February 2025, US textile and apparel imports rose by 18.53 per cent year-on-year to 16.75 billion SME, driven by strong growth in non-apparel textiles.
Cotton and man-made fibre product imports also increased.
Apparel imports rose by 9.81 per cent.
Meanwhile, exports saw marginal growth of 0.62 per cent, with apparel exports up but yarn exports declining.
