US textile and apparel imports fell by 1.98 per cent to $69.91 billion in January-August 2024, compared to 2023.
Apparel imports dropped 4.11 per cent, while non-apparel imports rose 4.42 per cent.
China remains the top supplier, followed by Vietnam.
Cambodia and Pakistan saw import increases, while imports from most other major suppliers declined.
