US net sales of upland cotton for the 2024–25 season rose 16 per cent week-on-week to 141,200 RB, with Vietnam, Turkiye, and Pakistan as key buyers.
However, export shipments dropped 24 per cent to 251,500 RB.
Pima cotton sales also grew 91 per cent to 9,700 RB, though shipments fell.
Major export destinations included Vietnam, Pakistan, India and Ethiopia, according to the USDA weekly export report.
