The ASEAN+3 region is poised to face a wide range of risks and challenges to financial stability in the near to long term, a report by the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office said.
The region remains vulnerable to macro-financial shocks from major advanced economies and other external factors.
The report suggested reducing structural reliance on the US dollar in the medium to long term.
