Trade turnover between Vietnam and the ASEAN was $54.9 billion during the first eight months of 2024—up by 12.5 per cent YoY, with the country posting a trade deficit of $5.6 billion with the bloc.
Exports to the bloc in the period were worth $$24.6 billion—up by 12.6 per cent YoY, while imports from the bloc were worth $30.2 billion—up by 12.4 per cent YoY.
