Vietnam’s consumer price index last year rose to 3.63 per cent YoY, meeting the National Assembly’s target, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
The index went up by 2.87 per cent YoY in Q4 2024, and by 2.94 per cent YoY in December.
GSO attributed the rise to the hike in prices of food and services, the fallout of natural disasters and growing demand during holidays and celebrations.
