Vietnam recently adopted a revised national energy master plan for the 2021-30 period—with a vision till 2050—to strengthen energy security, diversify supply sources and speed up the shift to cleaner energy.
The plan covers oil and gas, coal, electricity and new and renewable energy, and spans the entire energy value chain.
It targets a 15-35 per cent cut in GHG emissions by 2030 from baseline levels.
