“Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, Creeps in this petty pace from day to day, to the last syllable of recorded time.” — Macbeth

I bet you never thought you’d see Shakespeare quoted on Who What Wear, but strange enough, this monologue from Macbeth has been running through my head for the past several days. While at first glance, it can seem defiantly morose, I’m choosing to put a positive spin on it: how lucky are we who are able to remain healthy and at home to have these tomorrows to look forward to? Although each day might not be particularly nuanced or memorable, this season of quarantine will certainly carve its own imprint on our collective consciousness.

A recent New York Times Op-Ed from StoryCorps founder, Dave Isay, reminded me that this time spent isolating at home with my nuclear family is an unusual opportunity: what is it that we don’t want to be left unsaid? How can we make this undoubtedly life-changing moment in our individual histories a bit brighter? How can we reframe this seemingly-endless quarantine into an opportunity?

In lieu of filling out the prompts to our usual Who What Wear Weekend survey, I’ll share my plans outright: I am making the most of the weekend by asking my parents questions about their lives, telling my sister how grateful I am to have her as a roommate and friend, and giving my sixteen-year-old dog all the head rubs and special treats she deserves.

Whether you’re self-isolating literally or have a quarantine crew at your behest, our Who What Wear staffers are sharing their plans in an effort to help inspire your weekend routine. Whether that means long chats with loved ones, ordering take out from your favorite local restaurants, or simply catching up the latest series to hit Netflix, we’re right there with you—virtually, of course.

And if you are an essential worker or can’t stay home for whatever reason, we see you, support you, and thank you for doing your part to keep making tomorrow possible.
