Remember when Zendaya wore zebra short shorts to the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week last month? As it turns out, her front-row appearance was an indicator of big news to come because she’s just been announced as Louis Vuitton’s newest House Ambassador. Sounds like a match made in fashion heaven to me.
Zendaya’s new Louis Vuitton campaign was shot in the South of France by Mert and Marcus. In keeping with Nicolas Ghesquière’s love affair with architecture, the campaign was shot at a striking Modernist home designed by Eileen Gray.
“Defined by the dreamy airs of the Cote d’Azur, Zendaya poses in an idyllic sequence of strong, defined images, with a series of Capucines models in tow, including a miniature Capucines BB—another campaign first,” the press release states. “From terrace to balcony to rooftop, the award-winning actress imbues the campaign and Capucines with a fresh yet sensual grace.” Scroll down to see Zendaya’s first campaign as Louis Vuitton’s newest House Ambassador.
Next, French women always wear this jeans-and-flats outfit formula.
