Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.

Every year on my birthday, I get the same question from my girlfriends: “How do you feel about turning [insert age]?” And with my 24th birthday finally here, I’m feeling pretty good. Every new age feels like a fresh start and a time to reinvent myself. So this year, I want to find ways to experiment with my style and beauty routine.

For starters, I’m leaning toward some of my favorite Gen Z fashion trends: low-rise midi skirts, square-toed shoes, and oversize sweaters. But I’m also attracted to more tailored, polished pieces that I know I’ll wear for years to come. And while I’ve never really been much of a makeup gal, I’m discovering products that have the natural feel I’m going for.

Here are my 30 fashion and beauty picks that I’d happily receive as gifts this year. (Wink, wink.)

The unique metallic threading on this ribbed cotton tank is what initially caught my eye. Coupled with the bateau neckline, this is the definition of an elevated basic.

I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect asymmetrical midi skirt. I love the way this one effortlessly hugs the body.

Croc-effect boots are a cold-weather essential. The texture adds a nice detail to any outfit, and the Bordeaux-red colorway is so stunning.

Hobo bags are so chic and practical. The suede material of this one by Demellier makes the handbag feel truly timeless.

This stylish wool blazer means business (and comfort). I envision this piece becoming my everyday jacket whether I’m heading into the office or running errands.

This cute sweater just looks too cozy to take off. The trending red color is so vibrant, too.

I’ve been wanting to experiment with eye shadow in my makeup routine. This one by Merit is so easy to apply and has a pretty soft-matte finish.

Sweaterdress season is just around the corner, and this cashmere number has my undivided attention.

Belts are the accessory to own this season. While this sleek leather belt would look great on a pair of trousers, I would also style it with the above dress to make it even more fashion forward.

Sculptural earrings are so elegant and elevate any ensemble. Here’s the pair on my birthday wish list.

This has consistently been the nail color that I lean into the second fall comes around.

Made from a navy wool and cashmere blend, this knit tank is bound to become my go-to piece for those days when I feel like lounging around my apartment.

What’s a loungewear set without the cute matching bottoms?

These are a prime example of “cool kicks.” They strike the right balance of a lifestyle and performance sneaker.

The brand I literally can’t get enough of: Paloma Wool. This Gen Z favorite has all the chicest wardrobe basics, including this mock-neck top.

In my opinion, with every new age comes a brand-new pair of jeans.

I love the eyelet embroidery on this Ralph Lauren design. The vintage feel combined with the modern silhouette makes this handbag very one-of-a-kind.

I have an affinity for minimalist jewelry that’s versatile enough to complement my many outfits. This gold necklace is no exception.

The velvet zebra stripes are so fun and yet so elegant on this halter-neck maxi dress. And the back has left me speechless.

This is a classic trench coat that will never go out of style. The brown leather is easy to style with almost anything.

This shimmering gloss is the secret to enhancing your natural lips, and there’s a shade for every skin tone.

The cool sky-blue colorway is what drew me in. COS never fails to have the best seasonal wardrobe essentials.

I’ve been looking for a pair of sleek black trousers to wear to the office and on nights out. This high-waisted, flared pant definitely does both.

I haven’t bought into the ballet-flat trend yet, but I’m slowly being convinced to do so. The squared toe on this pair is calling my name.

It seriously doesn’t get more classic than this.

The soft and stretchy material makes this activewear piece so ideal for my yoga flows.

This quilted workout bag is something that I never knew I needed until it was staring me right in the face. It’s beyond cute, and I just know I’d get a lot of use out of it.

Did I mention I love Paloma Wool?

I think it’s finally time to add a clutch to my handbag collection. This one by Banana Republic taps into the quiet-luxury trend that still has me hooked.

Hint: A little blush can go a long way. This one has a transparent veil that doesn’t feel too overpowering.
