ADB sees China growth at 4.6% in 2026, 4.5% in 2027; inflation to rise

Economic growth in China is projected to moderate to 4.6 per cent in 2026 and 4.5 per cent in 2027, according to the ADB’s latest Asian Development Outlook.
Inflation is forecast to rise to 0.6 per cent in 2026 and 1 per cent in 2027 from 0 per cent in 2025.
Exports and government investment in strategic and high-tech sectors are projected to remain key near-term growth drivers.
