The Indonesian Fibre and Filament Yarn Producers Association has urged the government to take immediate and decisive action to save the domestic textile and textile product industry, which is on the brink of a crisis due to imported and smuggled products as well as dumping.
The trend not only harms state revenue, but also suppresses the competitiveness of local products in the domestic market, it noted.
