The Bangladesh-German Climate and Development Partnership was launched in Dhaka to fight climate change, promote clean energy and drive global climate action.
The new partnership focuses on areas like climate adaptation, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Germany will support Bangladesh through the Team Europe Initiative for Green Energy Transition and other funding mechanisms.
