Following a recent meeting with the Chittagong Port Authority, private inland container depots (ICDs) in Bangladesh have postponed their decision to suspend handling of export and empty containers for a month.
They had earlier verbally informed their clients of the planned suspension from December 11 citing their inability to cover expenses because the proposed hike in charges had not been implemented.
