Brenntag has opened the world’s first CO₂-emission-free chemical distribution site in Traun, Austria.
A €1.5 million (~$1.70 million) investment upgraded energy systems with heat pumps, photovoltaics, and efficiency improvements, cutting 120 tons of CO₂ annually.
The site serves as a blueprint for Brenntag’s global network, advancing its goal of climate neutrality by 2045.
