Cambodia’s $32-bn green investment fund to cut GHG emissions by 2035

Cambodia’s Ministry of Environment has allocated over $32 billion to green investments over a 10-year period till 2035 to achieve specific targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 55 per cent.
Minister of Environment Eang Sophalleth told a recent workshop in Phnom Penh that there is a need to mobilise funds from external sources like committed developed countries to achieve this target.
