Operations at Bangladesh’s Chattogram port came to a halt once again as workers and employees resumed an eight-hour strike for the third day in a row today.
The strike, enforced from 8 am, was called by the Chattogram Bandar Rokkha Sangram Parishad and the local unit of the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, demanding cancellation of the move to lease the New Mooring Container Terminal to a UAE-based firm.
